The 2011 summer retreat was the 25th anniversary of Sogyal Rinpoche's first visit to Dzogchen Beara and we celebrated by, for the first time ever, having the retreat on the site of the future temple.

Particularly memorable was Saga Dawa Duchen (Wednesday 15 June), a significant day in the Tibetan Calendar (there was also a total lunar eclipse!) when we enjoyed a full day of teaching and meditation practice with Sogyal Rinpoche.
